Dingo's Dream is a beautifully illustrated First Nations children's story by Palyku author and artist Helen Milroy, and the sixth book in the much-loved Tales from the Bush Mob series.

Dingo keeps having the same dream. Someone is calling for help, but who could it be?

Unable to ignore the feeling that someone is in trouble, Dingo checks with the Bush Mob before setting off on a search. Platypus helps create a map and the animals work together to search across the countryside.

Eventually, Dingo reaches a place he hasn't visited for many years: his old homeland, his Country. The landscape is now empty, but Dingo remembers the dingoes who once gathered there to sing together at sunrise and sunset.

At the bottom of a ravine, the Bush Mob discovers a stranger in need of help — a Tasmanian devil named Tassa who has become lost and trapped far from home.

Working together, the Bush Mob uses everyone's different strengths to rescue Tassa and help guide him home.

As Dingo reconnects with his own Country and remembers the dingo songs of the past, he begins to understand that perhaps his dream was Country calling him home.
